With 25 years' experience in financial services, Rachel is an investment professional who has demonstrated her ability to listen, understand and translate client goals into well-executed investment strategies. Her constant emphasis on communication ensures that those strategies are continually refined to reflect her clients' objectives and evolving needs, while always managing the delicate balance between growth and preservation of assets.
Rachel is passionate about making a positive impact on both her clients' and their family's lives. By taking time to develop deep relationships and an in-depth understanding of their personal long-term goals, she is able to build customized financial strategies that are tailored to their complex and evolving needs. In addition, Rachel works with her clients' external advisors and draws upon the support of in-house tax, estate and financial planning specialists, to deliver a truly comprehensive wealth management experience.
Rachel earned an MBA from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in accounting from Mount Allison University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, has completed the Canadian Securities Course, and is a member of the Toronto CFA Institute and CFA Institute.
After growing up on Canada's east coast, Rachel relocated to the Kitchener-Waterloo community in 2001 before joining RBC in 2002. She is proud to call K/W her home with her husband and their three daughters.
Outside of work, Rachel volunteers her time on the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce Women's Leadership Committee and enjoys golf, yoga, reading and family bike rides.
